
‘American Chopper’ To End In Sixth Season on Thursday. the reality series that airs in TLC and is in its sixth season right now, will be coming to an end this Thursday. Today, Orange County Choppers has garnered worldwide praise and recognition for their custom motorcycles. The finale of the season would be airing on Thursday, Feb 11. “American Chopper” had gained immense popularity since its inception in 2003.
Teutul, head of the Orange County Choppers customizer, knows a bit about reality shows. “American Chopper,” produced by Craig Piligian, launched six seasons ago and put the motorcycle-building family from upstate New York on the map. It propelled Teutul and his sons, Paul Jr. and Mikey, into celebrity land, and also gave family dramas a role as reality fodder.
It followed the life and behind the scenes action of the Orange County Chopper, a motorcycle shop owned by the founders of the show, Paul Teutul Sr. and Paul Teutul Junior. The son was mostly known on the show as Paulie, or simply Junior.
