These past few days, rumors have been aggressive that singer Steven Tyler has left Aerosmith to pursue his solo career. The only thing is that no one associated with the band seemed to be willing to confirm those rumors.

Monday reports the rumors has been confirmed through its member, There is an alleged news that not only is Tyler out of the band he whelmed for nearly 40 years, but the Aerosmith plan on searching for a new singer vocalist to replace him.

The report was from guitarist Joe Perry, who took to his Twitter account yesterday evening and tweet a message to let fans know that “Aerosmith is definitely NOT breaking up … one of the members is doing his own thing and said so in the press.”

That last line was in reference to a recent interview Tyler gave to British magazine Classic Rock, in which he said he had canceled all remaining Aerosmith dates, and was instead focused on — as he put it —”working on the brand of myself: Brand Tyler.”
